Now you’re off and running. Here are a few features:
• Sort the list view. Use the View menu items, or click on the column headings. If the option key pressed when you do this, it sets the secondary sort field; with the command key down, it sets the tertiary sort field.
• Click the expander icon to see the individual NBP entities at a node. You can also use the expand/collapse commands on the View menu. Holding down the option key when you select these commands moves the diamond mark on the menu; it indicates what will happen to new nodes that are found as the network is searched.
• In icon views, paste in a floor plan picture. Then drag the icons around to where they should be. The “by Small Icon” view is shown at 50% of the “by Icon” view. If you paste a picture into one layer, it will be grown or shrunk in the other view; or you can paste a different picture into each view (perhaps more detail in the larger view, for example).
• When an object “disappears” from the network, a yellow alert icon appears on top of it until the object is seen again. You can configure the alert interval settings with the Alerts command on the Network menu. Note also that when you open an existing network document, an object remains grayed out until it is seen again.
